It’s what brings people together in those special moments, like bonding over a delicious share plate or clinking wine glasses together in celebration. At Relish Catering we’re proud to be part of those moments, little or big, since 2001.
Whether it’s a corporate event or wedding, cocktail party or intimate dinner, our promise is that every dish will be exceptional. At Relish, we bring our tireless dedication and creativity to every brief: no two events are alike.
Led by head chef Katrina White, our team of experienced chefs will work closely with you to gain a clear understanding of your needs, helping you design a menu that fits your event perfectly.
A graduate of the renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, Katrina perfected her craft under the watchful eye of accomplished chef Darina Allen, who has long been considered the Maggie Beer of Ireland.
She moved to Narrabri in 2001, launching Relish after sensing a gap in the market for restaurant quality, catered food.
“When I came back to Narrabri, people by that stage were wanting Sydney-style food in the country but they just couldn’t get it, it was all beef stroganoffs and chicken and rice. So we were catering to that market”
Since then Relish has grown to become one of the most in-demand caterers in the country, often booked out twelve months in advance and catering for up to 4-5 events per weekend within a four-hour radius of Narrabri. Katrina’s innovative menu ideas have tantalised tastebuds all over Narrabri and beyond; with former Relish clients including Erica Packer and Sunrise host Edwina Bartholomew.
We believe what sets us apart is our dedication to excellent service and country style cooking, with meals that are hearty, fresh and rustic. Provenance is important to us, so we use only the finest seasonal ingredients from artisan producers and local suppliers.
Our menu is expansive, with cuisine spanning from Asian, modern Australian, Italian or Indian. Whatever the dish, you can be assured it will be prepared and presented to meet only the highest standard.
